Gato Salon is a cat grooming service exclusively for cats utilizing unique holistic and interactive techniques. It’s grooming without restraints of any kind and completely sedation-free while communicating with the cat, being sensitive to the cat’s tendencies, muscle movement, and breathing to minimize the stress levels of the cat during the grooming session.
After grooming my own cats for 15 years, I decided to turn my love and passion for cats into a career and become a professional cat groomer. I received training in Seoul over several months and ultimately earned a professional cat groomer certification. My mission is to make cats look amazing while prioritizing their physical and mental well-being.

INDOOR CATS ONLY!
APPOINTMENTS: GATO SALON RUNS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. $30
DEPOSIT REQUIRE TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT (ZELLE OR VENMO).
FOR EACH APPOINTMENT ONE RESCHEDULE WILL BE ALLOWED
IF REQUESTED 48 HOURS ADVANCE.
PLEASE BE ON TIME. YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED AFTER 15MINS AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
FOR IN-HOUSE GROOMING, PLEASE BE PREPARED WITH YOUR CAT INSIDE ITS CARRIER, KENNEL BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT TIME.
GROOMING DURATION WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 1 - 1.5 HOURS.
SCISSOR CUT (FACE CUT) WILL BE SKIPPED IF CAT SHOWS SIGNS OF BITING OR STRONG AGGRESSION.
IF ANY INFESTATION (LE FLEA, MITES, ETC) IS FOUND YOUR CAT WILL BE TREATED WITH OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATION. GROOMING WILL BE CANCELLED AND FULL GROOMING FEE WILL APPLY.
(PLEASE INSPECT AND HAVE THEM TREATED BEFORE APPOINTMENT)
MATTED FUR WILL BE SHAVED WITH 2MM BLADE ONLY.
SURCHARGE WILL APPLY.
A HEALTHY INDOOR CAT NEVER NEEDS A FULL BATH AS THEY THOROUGHLY CLEAN THEMSELVES THROUGH OUT THE DAY. CAT SALIVA HAS NATURAL ANTISEPTIC PROPERTIES. BATHING THE CAT RIGHT AFTER GROOMING CAN LEAD THEM TO SEVERE LEVEL OF STRESS WHICH CAN CAUSE HEART ATTACK. I WILL FINISH THE GROOMING WITH ONE-TIME USE WET TOWEL SPA WHICH WLL REMOVE MOST LOOSE HAIR.
IN SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE A BATH IS NECESSARY OR IF REQUESTED BY OWNER A BATH WILL BE INCLUDED.
11. I CONSIDER EVERY CAT EQUAL, THERE WILL BE NO EXTRA CHARGE DUE TO WEIGHT, BREEDS, AGE OR AGGRESSION.
GROOMING AGREEMENT
Before your first appointment, you will be asked to sign the agreement below.
Acknowledgment: You acknowledge and understand that even a fully vaccinated cat can still contract illness. Gato Salon thoroughly disinfects tools between each groom. You will hold harmless Gato Salon if your cat does become ill.
Aggressive or Dangerous Cats: Owners must inform Gato Salon if their cat(s) bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets, or specific grooming procedures. Gato Salon reserves the right to refuse/stop services to such cat(s) at any time before or during the grooming process.
Health or Medical Problems and Senior Cats: Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for senior cats or cats with health problems, and can expose hidden medical problems or aggravate a current medical problem during or after the groom. Because senior cats and cats with health problems have a greater chance of injury/higher chances of death, these cats will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.
Veterinary Care: In the best interest of your cat, this agreement will give Gato Salon permission to obtain immediate veterinary treatment for your cat should it be deemed necessary by Gato Salon. It is agreed that all expenses for veterinary care will be covered by the cat’s owner upon signing this agreement.
Previously Discussed Grooming Styles: Previously discussed grooming styles may not be completed due to your cat’s health condition or temperament. This decision is in the cat’s best interest, to prevent harm from coming to them. You will be responsible for payment of any services that are completed in lieu of previously discussed styles.
Matted/Tangled Cat: Removing matted hair can cause patchiness and hair loss. If you consent to remove the matted hair, please understand that shaving your cat will dramatically change its appearance, and the hair will be very close to the skin. This may expose pre-existing skin conditions for which Gato Salon is not responsible. Removal of mats, whether by shaving or dematting procedure, can be stressful to your cat and may exacerbate stress-sensitive health problems. Severe matting and/or pelting will result in an additional surcharge, based upon the severity of the problem and the time required to correct it.
A fecal removal surcharge and/or biter surcharge may also apply.
7. Accidents: Grooming equipment is sharp, and accidents can happen even though we use extreme caution and care in all situations. Possible problems could occur, including cuts, nicks, scratches, quicking of nails, etc. In most cases, this can happen when a cat is wiggling or moving around. You will hold harmless Gato Salon, if your cat is injured due to its dangerous grooming behavior.
Hold Harmless Agreement:
By signing this agreement, you agree to hold Gato Salon harmless from any illness, damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of your cat(s), either known or unknown to Gato Salon. It is also further understood and agreed that terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed agreements and releases. It is further understood this clause applies to any and all cats groomed. Gato Salon is not responsible for allergic reactions of any sort. Information Update: Owners must inform Gato Salon of all health problems, new and old, at each visit.
Photography Release: I hereby agree and give permission to Gato Salon to post pictures of my cat(s) on their website and social media pages for promotional purposes only.
